A versatile low-cost high performance USB multifunction data acquisition and control device featuring high-resolution 24 bit ADC with programmable input ranges. Can be used with thermocouples and PT100 temperature sensors. Also has 2 analogue outputs and 20 digital IO with timers/counters Quad encoders. Available with a wide range of FREE Data logging software and examples for use with most programming and DAQ packages.
Command/response (software timed) analogue input reads typically take 1-4 ms depending on number of channels and communication configuration. Hardware timed input streaming has a maximum rate that varies with resolution from 4 ksamples/s at 18 bits to 50 ksamples/s at 16 bits.
The U6-Pro has all the features of the normal U6 with the addition of an auxiliary low-speed high-resolution (24-bit) sigma-delta ADC. Analogue input resolution varies from 19.5 bits (RMS or Effective) at max speed (??? ms conversion time), to 22 bits at slower speeds (??? ms conversion time).
Up to 2 digital I/O can be configured as 32-bit counters. Since counting is one possible mode of the timers above, the U6 has up to 6 counting inputs.
A Ready-to-run executable logs from 1-16 channels on a U3, U6, or UE9. Displays selected channels on a graph and writes data to file. Executable requires the LabVIEW 6.0 run time engine (which can coexist with other versions of the LVRTE).

Supplied with LabVIEW VI's. These VIs make use of the native TCP capability of LabVIEW. They do not require any special LabJack drivers, and thus should work on any LabVIEW platform that supports TCP

The free Express version of DAQFactory works with the U12. DAQFactory allows non-programmers to make custom applications. It is easy to collect input data, convert to engineering units, display it, and log it to file, without any programming. Scripting is also supported so you can do advanced applications with control and automatic setting of outputs.
