The VT604 is a rack-mount 4-channel Power Distribution unit with environmental monitoring and alarm in server room, data centre, museum, medical and industrial environment monitoring applications. Featuring a web interface and 4 switched IEC mains sockets, 2 sensors ports, 2 digital inputs , two relay outputs, CAN bus, alarm notifications via SNMP, E-mail, web or beacons, accepts a USB camera or up to 4 IP cameras. Web interface features a dashboard giving overview, simple control logic to set up alerts, notifications and actions and sensor chart displays with data export.
The VT604 series has a built-in web server showing socket control, overall status and system tree, the status of dry contact inputs from doors and windows, and an event log
In addition to manual control, the outlest can be controlled via a logic scheme. In this example, a router is sending a PING periodically. If no response is received, a text message notification is sent (requires GSM option) and an outlet is power cycled.
CAN bus Expansion
Connecting CAN devices on a common bus allows you to collect data from a large number of sensors over a large area, or from a longer distance. Up to 32 devices can be added to the CAN interface and this can be further increased with a VT604 CAN bus extender.
The VT604 can be factory fitted with a GSM modem which allows for SMS text message notification of alarms and remote operation.
The VT604 can display pictures from a maximum of four IP cams simultaneously in several sizes, up to 640x480 pixels resolution or a single connect USB webcam.
Security, Notifications and Alarms
The VT604 authorization is going through the Radius protocols, that highly increases resistance to forced attacks. Notifications and alarms can be configured in “Logic menu” of web-interface using the states of sensors, timers, triggers and so on. In case of a problems the notification scheme can alert user via email, SMS or SNMP, automatically send pictures and data.
The complete status of the unit and / or sensors can be taken through HTTP, SMS, or SNMP, saved on FTP and Syslog servers or on installed SD card.
The Web interface allows you to set up logic rules for alerts, notifications & actions such as to switch on a fan and send an email when a temperature exceeds alarm limits.
All SNMP functions including SNMP v.1, v.2c, v.3 are supported. VT325 has a Built-in Watchdog timer with NTP synchronisation. SNMP Get function supported.
5-level sensor thresholds
Sensors with 5-level thresholds allows direct connection to the SCADA system. The thresholds are usually: very low, low, normal, warning and alarm. Sensor levels can be inverted.
Web interface integrates and displays graphs of all sensor data. The individual graph (seconds, minutes, hours, days) for each sensor type can be selected. RRD tool is used to build an embedded database of sensor data. This data can be accessed via the interface, or downloaded to Syslog or to FTP or saved on SD card. You can compare sensor data using a Multiplot by plotting a few sensor data along each other.
