Basic USB to RS485 serial converter. The SB485 is a self-contained unit, obtaining it's power from the USB port. Industrial grade with 3kV opto-isolation and internal high-speed transient suppressors on each data line to protect from dangerous voltages levels or spikes. Supplied with virtual serial port software to mimic a traditional serial port for use with legacy software.
