The A-1212 is a Wifi Remote Modbus TCP module with 2 digital inputs, 2 analogue Inputs (0/4 to 20 mA), 2 PT100 Analogue Inputs, 2 transistor digital outputs and 2 analogue outputs. It uses optical isolators to prevent ground loop effects and limits damages from power surges. The A-1219 has a Wifi port supporting Modbus/TCP communications as well as a RS485 port for Modbus RTU. A USB comm port is also available for Modbus communications and configuration.

The unit is configured using the free Utility Software. This can be used to set the units' IP address and to set the input ranges and monitor inputs.
