Models

8206
8 Relay-out/8 opto-in

User Manual >>

The 8206 digital I/O interface adapter provides 8 optically isolated inputs and 8 Form C relay outputs, which can be utilized for PC based control and industrial automation.

The 8 Form C relays support 2 Amp switch and carry current. Our unique serial string naming feature allows multiple USB digital I/O devices to retain their specific identity within the system. Onboard removable screw terminals are provided to simplify wiring connections

Features

  • "Hot Swapping" / Auto Configuration

  • 8 SPDT (single pole double throw) relays
  • 1 eight bit optically isolated input port
  • Optimized for 0-24 VAC/DC operation
  • Onboard removable screw terminals
  • Compatible with third party PC-based control programs
  • USB Powered

8207

16 opto-in

User Manual >>

The 8207 USB digital I/O interface adapter provides 16 optically isolated inputs for connection to devices including sensors, switches, push buttons, and other user inputs.

The inputs can sense both AC and DC voltage while providing optical isolation, which eliminates spikes and surges present in industrial environments. Our unique serial string naming feature allows multiple USB digital I/O devices to retain their specific identity within the system. Onboard removable screw terminals are provided to simplify wiring connections.

Features

  • "Hot Swapping" / Auto Configuration

  • 16 Optically isolated AC or DC inputs
  • Onboard removable screw terminals
  • Compatible with third party PC-based control programs
  • USB Powered

8208

16 reed relay out

User Manual >>

The 8208 USB digital I/O interface adapter provides 16 Outputs, which can be used for PC based control and automation of equipment

The 8208's reed relay outputs provide high quality, long life, low current (10 Watt maximum) dry contact switch closures. Reed relays are well suited for low current applications. Our unique serial string naming feature allows multiple USB digital I/O devices to retain their specific identity within the system. Onboard removable screw terminals are provided to simplify wiring connections.

  • "Hot Swapping" / Auto Configuration

  • 2 sets of SPST relays, 8 per set
  • Highly reliable 10 VA DIP reed relays utilized
  • Onboard removable screw terminals
  • Compatible with third party PC-based control programs
  • USB Powered

8209

8 Opto-in, 8 reed relay out

    User Manual >>

The 8209 digital I/O interface adapter provides 8 Inputs and 8 Outputs, which can be used for PC based control and automation of equipment.

The 8209's 8 Inputs provide optical isolation to protect the PC and other sensitive equipment from spikes and ground loop current that can be generated in industrial environments. The 8 reed relay outputs provide high quality, long life, low current (10 Watt maximum), dry contact switch closures. Reed relays are well suited for low current applications. The relays are normally open, and close when energized

Accessories

USB Active Extender

A USB cable cannot be used reliably used where the distance is greater than 5m. For distances greater than this, an active USB repeater is required

  • Connect up to 4 repeaters in series

  • No external power required
  • each repeater is 5m long

USB-EXT

USB Hubs

LJ-Hub4 - 4 Port USB Hub

LJ-Hub7 - 7 Port USB Hub

By using USB hubs, several relay units can be connected to a single USB port, providing an inexpensive solution for low-speed high channel count applications.

  • Plug and play

  • Overcurrent protection
  • USB Hub, 5m USB lead and PSU
