The USB-AD12f is a low cost USB based multifunction I/O unit with 16 analogue inputs, 1 analogue outputs, 4 digital inputs and 4 digital outputs. Data can be acquired at up to 20kHz rate at 12-bit resolution. Supplied with a copy of NextView4-Live software for data acquisition and control and a wide selection of Windows, MAC and Linux programming examples.

The USB-AD12f is a professional but low cost USB based multifunction I/O unit with 16 analogue inputs, 2 analogue output, 4 digital inputs, one of which can be used a s a pulse counter and 4 digital outputs. Data can be acquired at up to 20kHz rate at 12-bit resolution. All I/O are presented via two D-type sockets, one 37-way analogue and one 15-way digital. The user can connect to this directly or optional expansion boards are available.

Drivers are available for Windows, MAC and Linux operating systems. The USB-AD12f is supplied with an Active-X component and comprehensive programming examples for use with most common programming languages. There are also VI for use with LabVIEW and there is a USB-AD12f component ion the ProfiLab programming package.

The USB-AD12f is also supplied with a copy of nextView4-Live data acquisition and control software. With NextView-Live, the user can acquire and analyse data, set analogue and digital outputs and read the status of the digital inputs. The user can create their own screens, with chart displays, text, alarm panels, output sliders etc.

NOTE - The Live version of NextView does not allow acquired data to be saved to disk for analysis later or exported to Excel. When the program is closed, all acquired data is lost. Please see other versions of NextView for this functionality. Also see the RealView software for a chart recorder package that can export data to Excel for analysis.
