The
TCK-4 consists of 4 high-precision low-power instrumentation
amplifiers. The gain of each amplifier is pre-set to give a standard
10mV per degree celsius output for a type-k thermocouple input.
Thermocouple linearisation is not included, so the output follows the
non-linearity of a type k thermocouple. The gain is set at a
thermocouple input of 25°C.
Typical
output readings for an input temperature are shown below;

The
TCK-4 has a dual input power supply, a 5V input to allow direct
connection to 5V USB powered DAQ units such as the LabJack
U12 and a wide 7 to 28V DC
input range for use in automotive and process control environments.
All electrical connections to the TCK-4 are via screw terminals. The
TCK-4 can be desktop, panel or DIN rail mounted.
