SuperView
- Mini SCADA Package
|
|
Description |
|
|
|
Superview
is a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) software
package for use with Modbus RTU networked devices. Ideally suited for
smaller scale SCADA applications, where ease-of-use and speed of
development are important factors. The user can create windows with
images of the process and freely insert dynamic objects such as text,
buttons, chart displays, etc. Additional features include data
logging with historic data recall, event logs, alarm monitoring and
e-mail sending. Supplied with ready-to-run templates for DigiRail and
FieldLogger I/O.

|
|
Superview
is a Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) software
dedicated to operate with Modbus equipment. Fully configurable
software, it allows the user to create their own supervision forms
using images, texts, buttons and graphs from data accessible in the
Modbus network. The following Figure shows the Superview application topology.

Supervision
Forms
Supervision
forms are the core feature of a Superview application. Each form
displays a different view of the supervised process. There can be an
unlimited number of forms. Objects can be dragged onto the form and
placed in the appropriate position. The following types of objects
are available:

Alarm
Monitoring
Superview
can monitor the logged value of any physical tab, comparing it to
the limits set. If the tag exceeds the limits, the following actions
can be defined:
The
following alarm conditions can be simultaneously monitored for each
tag in the application.

Historic
Log
The
value of any Superview tag may be periodically logged in a
computers file for later reference (such as a chart or table)
or exported to other applications (Excel spreadsheets or PDF, for
example). The historic log is an important feature in any supervisory
system, because it allows for maintenance of information about the
process for future reference, as well as to integrate these data with
other systems within the company.
To
use the historic log, the following settings are required:
