The MSO5022 is a new, low-cost, full-featured 25MHz two-channel benchtop mixed-signal oscilloscope with 8-bit resolution, combined with a 16-channel logic analyzer - perfect for any engineer’s or student’s desk. USB connection makes printing stored results easy too. With a large 7.8” 640 x 480 colour LCD, MSO5022 is small enough and light enough to carry anywhere you need.

Description

 

DSO

  • Normal - operates like a normal DSO with simple manual control of timebase, triggering etc

  • XY Mode - With the XY mode selected, CH1 is displayed on the horizontal axis and CH2 is on the vertical axis; when the oscilloscope is under the sampling mode in which no trigger is found, the data appears as light spots.
  • Auto-set - The Auto-Set feature lets the Oscilloscope display and measure unknown signals automatically. This function optimizes the position, range, timebase and triggering and assures a stable display of virtually any waveform.
  • Average Display - the displayed waveform is an average of a preset number of waveform samples. This can eleiminate noise which can otherwise obscure readings
  • Automatic Measurements - The oscilloscope can perform 5 types automatic measurements such as frequency, cycle, average value, peak-to-peak value and root mean square value. And gives two kinds of measurement results simultaneously on the screen.
  • MATHS functions - shows the result of adding, subtracting, multiplying or dividing calculation on CH1 and CH2 channel waveforms

 

Triggering

There are two triggering modes including Edge triggering and Video triggering.

  • Edge triggering: The Edge triggering is a mode by which trigger occurs at the triggering threshold value of the input signal edge. With the Edge triggering selected, the trigger happens on the rise or fall edge of the input signal

  • Video triggering: With Video triggering selected, the oscilloscope performs the NTSC, PAL or SECAM standard video signals field or line trigger

 
Other Features

  • Waveform Storage - up to 4 waveforms can be saved in the HDS1022M's internal memory for comparison display or upload to a PC

  • Data Upload to a PC - Stored Data can be uploaded to a PC via Rs232 or USB in bitmap or ASCII format.

 

Logic Analyser

Data can be recorderd as per the following trigger modes;

  • Edge trigger - make a channel as trigger source and set rising edge, falling edge or either edge as trigger condition to generate trigger

  • Bus trigger - set BUS as trigger source and make data on BUS as the trigger condition to make trigger
  • Pattern trigger - Set channel as signal source and make high/low voltage for channel as trigger condition combination to get trigger
  • Sequential queue trigger - make BUS as trigger source and continuous setting data in BUS as trigger condition to enerate trigger and also can set 8 data at the same time
  • Distributed queue trigger - make BUS as trigger source and dis-continuous setting data in BUS as trigger condition to generate trigger and also can set 8 data at the same time
  • Data width queue trigger - Make BUS as trigger source and continuous duration in BUS as trigger condition to generate trigger
