The ModemCOM/G10 is a simple, but powerful tool for wireless connection of personal or industrial computer to the Internet. This device acts like an ordinary modem, controlled by AT commands, so almost no changes would be required if you used a fixed line modem before and want to upgrade to wireless modem.

The ModemCOM/G10 is a device designed for data transmission via GSM Network. The design of this modem enables the connection to your PC through COM interface. The ModemCOM/G10 supports the following data-bearers: GPRS, CSD, CSF and SMS.

 

Software

 

The ModemCOM/G10 is suppled with easy to use Modem setup wizard software which guides through the installation process.

Internet Access

When you are using the ModemCOM/G10 you can get access to the Internet via one of this data transmission types using the Modem Control Panel:

  • GPRS packet data transfer. In this case you have to know “APN”, “user name and password”;

  • CSD data transfer. You have to know a phone number of a dial-up server.

Simply click on the "Connect" button.

Sending Short Text Messages (SMS)

Using the ModemCOM/G10 it is possible to send and receive short text messages (SMS) by clicking on the Modem Control Panel "SMS" icon. A message box is presented where the reciving phone number and text message can be entered.
