Initial
setup and IP address settings are initially performed through a
small utility program. Thereafter, all the functions of the IP-9258PRO
are accessed through a web browser.
Manual
Switching on/off
The
user can manually switch the 8 power outputs on or off. In the Timer
section, a delay in seconds can also be entered before the on/off action.

Outlet
State Query
Clicking
on the Set Power button on the left will show the
current on/off state of the 8 outputs.
Timer
Control
The
"Power Schedule" selection allows the power outputs to be
switch on or off at preset date/time intervals

Power
Reboot by Ping
The
IP WatchDog feature means that the device will restart (switch off
/on) powered port when some user defined IP address stop responding
to a ping (and ideally also HTTP port check ).
An
ideal example of how you could use this is that if your broadband
router was going offline and stopping you contacting the 9258PRO, you
could get the 9258PRO to reboot the router if the 9258PRO stops
getting a ping reply from an external internet address (i.e. if your
internet connection is down). In short, it would reboot your broadband
router if the connection goes down!

VCT
Monitoring
The
VCT (Voltage, Current, & Temperature) config allows you to
configure the alarm values of unit Voltage, RMS Current 1 (outlets
1-4) , RMS Current 2 (outlets 5-8) & internal temperature.
When
that critical point has been reached the 9258 Pro will respond by
sending a e-mail notification and it can be configured to shut down.
It
is possible to monitor these values via the corresponding webpage.
