IP-9216 IT System Management Unit
Description
The IP-9216 is a Ethernet/Web based IT system management unit for monitoring vital system parameters such as CPU/motherboard supply voltages and temperatures. The IP-9216 can also monitor the status of 16 digital inputs and can monitor the performance of up to 3 x cooling fans. The user can set alarm setpoints for all inputs which can then alert the user of abnormal conditions via the built-in web server, SNMP or via email. Also features a watchdog monitor and local LED display.

Inputs
DC Voltage The IP9216 can monitor 3 standard voltages of 3V, 5V, 12V with a maximum input range of 4V, 5.8V, and 15.5V respectively. The user can set an upper alarm limit and lower alarm limit within this range. If the monitored voltage falls outside these limits, the IP9216 can send a SNMP alarm data package and an alarm email. If the beeper is enable, the beeper will alarm. If the voltage falls back to within the normal range the alarm will stop. Temperature The IP9216 can monitor 2 external temperatures via the included sensors and a third internal temperature. The user can set a high temperature limit which can trigger an SNMP and email alert, and a normal temperature setpoint which will stop the alarm condition. Fans Up to 3 standard PC-style cooling fans can be connected to the IP9216 which can monitor their rotational speeds. If the rotational speed of the fan is lower than the alarm limit, the IP9216 will send SNMP alarm data package and email. Digital Inputs The IP9216 has 16 opto-isolated digital inputs. These can be set to accept either a volt-free contact closure or an input voltage level. The IP9216 can be set to trigger a digital alarm on either input high or input low.
Web Interface
The IP9216 is supplied with the IPedit application which can detect devices on the LAN and can be used to set IP address information. Thereafter, all settings are accessed through a web-browser. The use can also view live input readings. The IP9216 can also be controlled by using simple HTTP commands.
