The
Handyscope HS4 is a powerful 4-channel computer controlled measuring
instrument that consists of four measuring instruments: a Multimeter,
an Oscilloscope, a Spectrum analyzer and a Transient recorder. This
new powerful and compact measuring instrument can solve almost every
measurement problem. Ideal for high channel count, high speed data
acquisistion tasks.
The
Handyscope HS4 features a user selectable 12 bit, 14 bit or 16 bit
resolution (14 bit effective, SNR 95 dB), 200 mV - 80 V full scale
input range, 128 Ksamples record length per channel and a sampling
frequency up to 50 MHz on all four channels.
Connected
to the fast USB 2.0 interface, the Handyscope HS4 doesn't require an
external power supply, fully supporting the "Plug in and
measure" ideal.
The
universal software that is delivered with the Handyscope HS4 turns
your PC into a storage oscilloscope, a spectrum analyzer, a voltmeter
and a transient recorder. An intelligent auto setup allows the
inexperienced user to perform measurements immediately. The software
allows you to save instrument settings on disk. Later these setting
files can be recalled, reducing the setup time of your instrument to
an absolute minimum

Third
Party Software |
|
|
|
A
major advantage of the HandyScope measuring instruments is the
ability to work with third party software tools. Instead of the
normal software package delivered with the measuring equipment, you
can now use your favourite measuring environment to acquire the data
you want. This allows for a very flexible measuring setup, which is
virtually unlimited in possibilities. Total integration can be
achieved in, for example, Mathworks' Matlab and LabVIEW. Processing
your measured data has never been easier!
In
addition, it's even possible to write your own software for the
HandiScope equipment. Total control over your measurements is within reach!
The
third party support is made possible through the use of a Windows
Dynamic Link Library (DLL) file. Whether you're using LabVIEW, Matlab
or Visual Studio to develop your own measuring tools, the DLL that
belongs to a specific measuring instrument is the interface between
your application and the measuring instrument. Some of the third
party tools are able to import functions from the DLL direct, like
LabVIEW. However, most tools need a header file or an equivalent file
to know which functions to import from the DLL. These files are all
included with the DLL and can be found in the download section. |
