The
multi-channel software package is the next generation of measuring
software for the Handyscope series of USB instruments. At present,
the software is only Beta release, which is why not all functionality
of the software is present yet.
The
new measurement software can control an unlimited number of
measuring instruments, with an unlimited amount of channels. The
measurement software can display this data in an unlimited amount of
different displays with very different possibilities on how to
display the measured data. In addition to the measured data of the
instrument input channels, the software can also show processed data,
internal software signal generators and other sources.
Currently,
the measurement software is working with Handyscope HS3 and
Handyscope HS4 series.
The
new measurement software is available in two versions. In the normal
version, both the HS3 and the HS4 are supported. In the demo version,
no hardware is supported, but it is possible to create multiple demo
instruments and it is also possible to combine these instruments to
form a combined instrument.
The
new measurement software supports an unlimited amount of devices
connected to the software. An example is shown below;

Y/t mode, X/Y mode and the spectrum analyzer at the same time!
The
new measurement software support an unlimited amount of graphs. You
can display different graphs in the same window, but you can also
move each graph to its own window. An example of multiple graphs in
one window is shown below
Create
a combined instrument from two or more instruments
You
can create a combined instrument from two or more instruments. Once
the instruments are combined, you are able to work wiht them as if
they were one single measuring instrument. The picture below shows an
example of a combined instrument
