Description
HMI Studio is a FREE windows based package for HMI configuration and front-end application development. Many ready made objects are available for fast application development like Data Entry, Data Display, Text, Bit Lamp, Word Lamp, Real time trends, Historical trends, Real time alarms, Historical alarms, Date, Time, Button, Single bar graph, Multiple Bar Graph, Analog Meter, Multi language Text, Bit map selection, Rectangle, Circle, Lines etc. Other tools include tag database, PLC driver selection, Network configuration, ladder-logic programming, alarms and data logger.
Features
Tag Database This is the central database where you specify which hardware is attached, and what inputs and outputs, or tags, are defined. Once the tags are defined (as register or coils) and their attributes selected, the tags can be used in the application on screens, tasks, alarms etc. Creating Screens Screens are the most important part of any application as it displays the information required by the operator. Up to 65536 screens can be defined in HMI Studio with optional password protection. HMI Studio has many pre-defined screen components; Data Entry Object - any register or coil can be modified Display Data Object - the contenst of any register or coil can be displayed. Parameters such as font size, colour, and flash can be specified Numeric keypad - A numeric keypad is required to enter data in a touch screen product. The user can select either a static or popup keypad ASCII Keypad - used to enter the data in alpha-numeric format Drawing objects such as lines, circles, rectangles can be created Bar Graphs - Bar graphs are register dependent objects which change their bar height or width according to the value in the register Bitmap image - included is a library of industral bitmap images such as pumps, motors, tanks etc. Button - can be used to perform an action or task Bit Lamp - The bit lamp can be used to display the on/off status of a coil or bit Analog Meter - useful for representing parameter values such as temperature or pressure from a PLC tag or HMI tag Real Time Trend - The Real Time Trend object is a graphical representation of a tag’s value in the current time period. The time value comes from the real time clock in the HMI unit. The tag’s value is plotted on the Y axis and updated every second Historical Trend - replays previously recorder data   Global And Power On Task Power-on Tasks - Tasks executed when the unit is first switched on. This could be to go to certain screens, set some registers or coils or start datalogging Global Tasks - execute when selected by a on-screen button or numeric input Goto Screen Write Value To Tag Add/Subtract a Constant Value To Tag Add/Subtract Tag A to Tag B Turn Bit On/Off/Toggle Bit Copy/Swap Tag A to Tag B Delay and Wait Set Real Time Clock Print Data Execute PLC block Alarms DataLogging and Trending Ladder-logic control programs   PID Control Loops
