The TCWT22 is a low cost solution to Remote Control and Monitoring via your mobile phone. The TCWT22 can monitor 2 analogue and 4 digital switch inputs. A SMS alarm message can be sent when inputs exceed preset limits. The user can also interrogate the inputs through SMS messaging. The TCWT22 also has 4 relay outputs which can be activated via SMS and used to switch lamps, pumps, heaters etc.

  • 4 digital inputs and 4 relay outouts
  • Quad band: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, gives worldwide operation.
  • 7A relay outputs, to drive heavy loads
  • Surge and reverse voltage protection on all the inputs.
  • Two Analogue inputs with mode selection, voltage mode (0-10V) or current mode (4-20mA)
  • Turn ON/OFF the outputs by sending SMS
  • Range of compatible PIR, Smoke , Flood sensors >>
  • Alarm message service over SMS or email
  • Simple configuration through any web browser
  • DIN rail mounting, for easy intergration in industrial environment
  • 4 LED‘s for input status, 4 LED‘s for output status
  • Dual colour device status LED
  • 12-24V power supply, ideal for use in heavy duty vehicles like buses, trucks
  • Watchdog controller ensures reliable and continous operation
  • RS232 programming interface (best to use a true RS232 port)
  • Firmware upgrade possibility
The TWCT22 is an advanced yet simplified Remote Terminal Unit. Taking advantage of the reliable, widespread GSM networks and the supported GPRS service, TWCT22 becomes a remotely accessible unit from any part of the world. Using an embedded feature rich web server interface, you can configure various parameters of TWCT22. The inputs present on TWCT22 can be used for monitoring of external devices or connecting sensors (analogue/digital). Alarm conditions can be configured for monitoring of these inputs. Since TWCT22 supports SMS and SMTP protocols, the device can be configured to send SMS/Email whenever alarm conditions occur. TWCT22 also gives you the freedom to control the states of the connected outputs. By sending a simple SMS you can change/get the status of the outputs.

Given the set of hardware features, software ability and GSM connectivity TWCT22 is an ideal product for use in wide variety of application areas. With minimal to no effort, TWCT22 can be easily integrated in an operational system with ease. Some of the application areas could be (the list is however not limited to these application areas)

  • Security systems
  • Irrigation & fire alarm systems
  • Building surveillance and control
  • Home & garden automation projects
  • Heating, lighting & climate control
  • Remote monitoring and device/equipment control
Wide coverage of GSM networks and the provision of GPRS connectivity have made it possible to interconnect systems wirelessly. TWCT22 exploits the benefits of this wireless technology and gives you control of your remote units from any part of this World. All-in-all TWCT22 is an advanced, effective and an economical solution for fulfilling your needs of remote monitoring and control applications.

Functions

Remote commands are described by three definitions:
  • event - an occurrence detected by the device, either a state change on one of the four digital inputs, an analogue input exceeding an alarm limit or two types of receiving messages (SMS, call)
  • logic - the relationship between elements
  • action - a state or process that is controlled by the device - a change of relay state (on, off, toggle) or sending a message (SMS, email, call).

With the use of Logics, you can constuct simple sequences, so that more than one action can be taken for an input state.

Events
  • Digital High to Low (you can set the de-bounce time 0-1000ms)
  • Digital low to high (you can set the de-bounce time 0-1000ms)
  • analogue input exceeds a limit
  • analogue input falls below a limit
  • user defined SMS message received
  • Call from recognided phone received
Logics

  • AND any event inputs - all events must be true
  • OR any event inputs - any event input must be true
Actions
  • Set output relay high
  • Set output relay low
  • Toggle relay output
  • Send user defined SMS message
  • Call defined phone number
  • Send email (only if service is provided by GSM network provider)
