eDAM 8000 Remote Terminal Units


Description

 

A range of serial port RS485 remote data acquisition and control units, compatible with the ADAM 4000 series units and equivalents.

The eDAM range of modules are used for remote data acquisition and control applications, where the user needs to measure process parameters and control equipment such as pumps and motors some distance from the PC. The modules can be distributed over a wide area, and are connected to the PC via a simple 4-wire connection using a RS485 interface. The network of eDAM modules is connected to the PC's serial port via a RS232 to RS485 converter. Any number of eDAM modules can be connected in any mix.

Supplied with configuration untility program and comprehensive software development kit. Can be used with DAQFactory SCADA software. LabVIEW and Intouch drivers under development.
