DigiRail
MODBUS Remote Terminal Units
|
|
Description |
|
|
|

For
a more capable range of Modbus RTU's >> |
The
DigiRail line of smart transmitters with Modbus RTU comunication
interface provide a simple way for integrating analogue or digital
signals to supervisory SCADA systems. There are three models in the
range, a 2-channel universal analogue input unit, a 2-channel relay
output units and a 4-channel digital input/counter unit.
The
input signals are isolated from power thus protecting the electrical
instruments by eliminating ground loop effects. This reduces
substantially the undesirable interferences and instabilities in
sensor measurements
DigiRail
can be easily configured and calibrated via the digital interface by
using the Windows based Digiconfig software.

Configuration |
|

|
DigiRail
Configuration is done via the RS485 interface by using Modbus RTU commands.
The
DigiConfig software supplied FREE allows for configuration of all
DigiRail features as well as complete calibration and diagnosis.
It
automatically detects active devices in the Modbus network and
permits configuration of all parameters. |

USB-i485

User
Manual >>
|
The
USB-i485 module is a cost-effective way to convert RS485 or RS422
industrial buses to a USB interface. When connected to a PC USB port
the USB-i485 module is automatically detected and is installed as a
native COM port which is compatible with any existing serial
communication application.
Muliple
modules can be installed when using USB hubs thus allowing a
hassle-free configuration of a multi serial system without any IRQ or
DMA configuration.
1500
Vdc isolation between the USB port and RS485/RS422 protects the PC
from spykes or possible misconnections in the communication bus |

SuperView
Superview
is a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) software
package for use with DigiRailnetworked devices. Ideally suited for
smaller scale SCADA applications, where ease-of-use and speed of
development are important factors. The user can create windows with
images of the process and freely insert dynamic objects such as text,
buttons, chart displays, etc. Additional features include data
logging with historic data recall, event logs, alarm monitoring and
e-mail sending. Supplied with ready-to-run templates for DigiRail and
FieldLogger I/O. More

DAQFactory
Control
and monitoring software DAQFactory
can now be used with DigiRail with version that have the connectivity
pack. DAQFactory can be used to create an opertor interface, with
plant mimics, chart recorders, provide automatic control, PID loops,
alarms and datalogging and reporting functions.
