The PCI-PIO is a low cost digital I/O card with 32 digital IO channels split into two 16-bit bidirectional digital ports. Up to 3 counters or incremental encoders can be connected at any digital inputs of the PCI-PIO. Supplied with a copy of NextView4-Live software for data acquisition and control and a wide selection of Windows, MAC and Linux programming examples.

The PCI-PIO features two 16-bit bidirectional digital ports. The port lines are led out to a 37-pole Sub-D female connector. The short latency of the PCI interface makes the card especially attractive for controlling tasks.

Up to 3 counters or incremental encoders can be connected to any digital input of the PCI-PIO. The relevant digital lines are programmed to counter mode via software. To set an incremental encoder to the zero position, the use of an external counter reset is supported.
 

Included as accessory is the hardware independent ActiveX control LIBAD API for programming under Windows, MAC or Linus. In addition the PCI-PIO can be used under Windows with the powerful software for acquisition and processing of measuring data NextView®4. It is available as "Professional" or "Lite"  versions. LabView VI's are also available.
