CQ485 RS422-485 Repeater/Converter
The CQ485 is a repeater for 2-wire RS485 networks, 4-wire RS422 networks or as a converter between those two communications formats. Both sides are galvanic isolated. Unit parameters can be adjusted with easy to use software programmed via an RS232 connection.

CQ485 can work in two modes of data transmission – passive or active. Passive mode In this mode, data are transmitted and shaped by the TTL circuits. There is no delay on the line. Active mode Data are received and transmitted by the main processor and each bit is fully reconstructed. Therefore there is a slight delay of the length of one byte. Configuration CQ485 parameters can be adjusted with a free easy to use software program, sent via an RS232 connection.
