The
IP9310 is a compact and affordable Ethernet based MPEG-4 Video
server. The built-in web-server can display live video and audio
through a web-browser. The IP9310 can accept most video formats along
with audio and record video on the PC in MPEG4 AVI format. Video
compression frame rate and bit rate is fully adjustable for the
advance user.
Once
the IP8310 has been allocated an IP address on the network (using
the supplied ipedit utility), any web-browser can view video and
audio via a web-browser. There are four setting slides on the left of
webpage which are used to set the image parameters such as brightness
and contrast. There is also an up, down, left, right control, pad for
controlling Pan, Tilt, Zoom enables cameras through the built-in
RS485 interface (using PELCO-D protocol).

Video
Recording
The
browser has a full set of record controls to allow you to save video
on your PC in either AVI or mpeg raw file. There is also
a"snapshot" button which can be used to take a still image
with a date/time stamp. The Zoom out and Zoom in buttons are used to
adjust the image size.
Video
Playback
It
is possible to play-back recorded video from within the web-browser.
Users can search for a video file, play, stop, pause, fast forward
and fast reverse the video, take a snap-shot and adjust the image
size. There is also a conversion facility to convert recorded AV
files to AVI files so thay can be viewd in standard video viwer
software such as Windows Mediaplayer.
Motion
Detection
The
IP9310 can perform motion detection on the image, and start
recording video when image changes above a user adjustable
sensitivity setting is achieved.
OSD
Setting
The
IP9310 has an On Screen Display function, where user text can be
overlayed on the image. The text, text colour and text location can
be set by the user.
Digital
I/O
The
IP9310 has 6 general purpose digita I/O lines which can be used by
the user to switch on/off lamps, alarms etc or to monitor inputs from contacts.
